About Us
While Africa contributes the least to climate change, it bears the greatest burden of its effects, creating an urgent need for climate adaptation. At the same time, climate risks are one among many ESG issues that investors consider when assessing the non-financial performance of companies.
Our mission at Karbon Kounsel is threefold:
Help communities build resilience to climate impacts by teaching the basics of climate change and carbon markets in their local languages, and co-developing climate adaptation and carbon offset projects that are practical, locally relevant, and sustainable.
